There are only 3 active coaches that have won the big game, Smart, Day and Dabo and we aren't getting any of those coaches. Everyone else will be a crap shoot so have fun guessing the next few weeks and don't be surprised at who we may get.

Most of the current list would be a big gamble but not all.

A playoff caliber HC is a kind of where we end up or someone from the NFL because college football is just a stone’s throw away from the NFL for players and coaches.

From the NFL, for me, it would need to be someone who has coached at the college level as well. These are just kids, let’s not forget that.

A coach that went 10-25 at Ole Miss won a title here. People forget.

I mentioned to a relative that Nakos put Marcus Freeman on the LSU hot board and he was disgusted stating he cant win the big game.

He won several big games to get them to the biggest game and lost to a way better roster.
The big game narrative is stupid with the exception of James Franklin

And what do those 3 have in common? They didn’t have miles long head coaching resumes the Rant feels you must have when they were hired.
