Kiffin the Anti-Les

I'm trying really hard to get on the Lane Train and failing, for two reasons:
1. His career up to Ole Miss has just come off as all about him and pretty scummy to me. Maybe LSU is the pinnacle, maybe he's learned, but I don't want to take the (expensive... again) chance.
2. He feels like the Anti-Les - creative, explosive, modern offense (yay!), but still equally liable to make a goofy call and lose a game he's not supposed to. I don't *want* an entertaining coach: I want a winning coach.
In short, I think we should be looking for the "next Saban". Not literally, of course, but an up-and-coming coach, who is smart, driven, is NIL-savvy but maybe hasn't had the resources yet. We want someone who can come to LSU and build a dynasty, who can handle hiring good OCs and DCs over and over again as he churns out a coaching tree (and beats them all).
Does anyone seriously think Kiffin is that? Really?! 90% of you (if not more) doubt he'll win a NC at Ole Miss. Heck, if his starting QB hadn't gotten hurt, I bet they would have already lost another game or two. (I will give him credit for riding Chambliss though.)

There are no guarantees, of course, but if you don't think this describes Kiffin, I don't know who you think it does describe.

That's sort of my point.
