But, maybe that's not what LSU needs right now. Maybe we should give a coordinator a chance.

Wouldn’t hate either for sure. That’s the direction we should be thinking instead of the pipe dream that is Lanning or fricking Saban/Urban. Even Kiffin with the contract it would take to him lure him here doesn’t make sense.
You need to go the AM/Elko route, whether that’s Summerall or Golesh or a coordinator like Hartline/Schumann/Klein

We’d have to look over our shoulders every year with Hartline. If he’s successful, mama gonna come calling at some point

I think a guy like Sumerall would do fine here. But I think they have to make the other guys say no first.
