Should we give him a call?

I don’t care who it is as long as they can coach and get results in rushing lane discipline and corralling dual threat QBs.
No more 2-3 TD, 75 yard plus nights from opposing QBs. We’re done with that shite.

The dude is an NFL defensive coordinator. I honestly wouldn’t even leave that job for our head coaching job.

Are you stupid? Why would he leave from being the Lions DC to be LSUs DC? There’s so many ridiculously stupid people on this board

You dont go from DC in the NFL to DC in college. Next move for him would be HC at a big school or NFL.

He has half a season as a DC. If he was in year like 3 or so then give him a look as a HC maybe. But WAY too soon for a program like LSU

Why would any in demand NFL coach want to coach in college football today? It’s an unorganized mess with LONG hours (recruiting is a 365 day work schedule) and little job security.
At least in the NFL you get an actual offseason.

Blake Baker made 2.5M this year.
Kelvin sheppard makes 900k
That's a big difference

I feel like job stability is much different in the NFL though. Sheppard is only going to go up from there.
