The reason Nuss continued to start is politics. He was supposed to be heisman frontrunner and top half 1st round pick. He’s been here 5 years. None of that matters. The only thing that matters is playing the best players. That’s it. All could’ve been avoided if he switched to MVB in Ole Miss game when it was clear Nuss was a bottom 4 SEC QB.
