Where do you think AL will place next year now that their prized recruiter has deserted to TN?

Not sure but I would be willing to bet they sign somewhere between 50-60 kids.

Make NO mistake, Bama's "prized recruiter" is Nick Saban. Period.

Bama will continue to recruit just as they have. The only thing standing in their way will be a revamped Auburn staff if Auburn can pull it together. Don't know what Thompson brings to the table in terms of recruiting, but the big mouthed punk coach at UT will find Bama recruiting just as strong as ever. Bank it.

Saban can't recruit every player.

I think they will be close to 6-6, and their recruiting will take a hit as a result. Bama reached their peak prior to the Sugar Bowl, where they were formally exposed.

It's Saban's recruiting system, Saban's name, and a good product that does the recruiting. If Thompson were so great, at least one of his Bama commitments would have followed him to Tennessee.

Have you seen our schedule? It's much more favorable than last season.

How many can Bama sign next year? They have signed 59 in two years!! How many grey shirts do they have coming in next year? They will have to start signing a much smaller number of players, which will result in a much lower ranking.

Actually, Bama has 22 seniors on scholorship this year, so next year will likely be the same (or close to the same) as the last 2 years in terms of numbers signed.

Not so fast, my friend. Saban brought almost no one with him from Mich. St. What do ou think of him? Thompson looks like he tricked a few into heading to TN. I am not a fan of our new DC, and although he is allegedly a good recruiter, he brought in no one from TN that I am aware of.

Next year will be interesting, and more competative than ever. The SEC is getting stronger.

Bama will get plenty of the Bama kids who grow up loving bama, so I would look to see what the talent in bama looks like next year. He will then try to get a few kids from LA, TX, Fl and GA like they do all the time.

LMFAO
I read this last year on this site also.
I think Arky extends its winning streak on LSU next year.

I find it funny that you are personally offended by a prediction on a LSU message board.

I also find it funny that you are predicting an Arkansas win...probably because your feelings were hurt (see above).

Last year there were predictions ranging from 4-8 to 10-2, and - just like now - there wasn't a point.

The reality of over signing so much will force numbers down. That "Saban" reality hit us after the 2004 season.

With all the non-qualifiers this year and last, Nick will have to sign at least 45 to be #1.

21-25 kids next year would be my guess. It looks like we are only going to be going after 7-8 instate kids next year. As our the team talent level increases, the size of sabans classes will get smaller.

If early offers are any indication, gonna be taking a lot of out of state kids next year

Dont worry lsu fans with LT gone, bama will never be able to recruit again. Lsu should be able to just kill bama now, I mean LT was such a great recrutiter every body knows without LT saban could never be able to recruit. Does that make you folks feel better. I know us bama fans are shaking right now knowing we connot go forward without LT. By the way Rivials #1,ESPN #2,SCOUTS #2 I think Bama did pretty good. I think this years class is better than last years JMO.
