Curne on the first play told me everything...

I needed to know about how the game would go. Curne didnt even touch the guy.
I knew we didnt have a shot to win, but I at least thought we would be somewhat competitive and find a way to lose by 10-14 points late in the game.
The fact that they were trying to force Curne at Tackle on Nussmeier's blindside was coaching malpractice. He is a guard. Thompson played Tackle last season. Why not kick him out and move Curne inside.

You would have to have a good O Line coach to make those decisions. We do not. As bad as the O line has been this year, if not for injuries, we would have the same 5 guys out there. Curne is a guard. I still dont know why they haven't kicked Thompson out to Tackle yet.

Curne played pretty well considering the circumstances. That wasn’t on him.

I give him a pass on that, he made a good play right before on the big run to his side.

You should have known how this was going to go. The OL is terrible. They are not coached at all. The OL Coach and the OC have to go first. Today would be a good day for that. Gives the new guys two weeks to make some changes and coach up the players.

Pass protection he got walked by all night and was horrific. He gave up as many sacks as will Campbell did in 3 years, in 1 game. Not his fault, guard shouldn't have to be thrown into lt against top 5 team. On Kelly whos given 3 full recruting classes, and cant develop 5 lineman, since 2 were handed to him in Moore, Thompson, to have a rotation of 7 you need to get through a season.
Run blocking hes a fricking dude, and aggie dline didnt like to see him very much on our limited run plays. Hes 100% a guard.

Yeah and you had people on this board all year wanting Curne to play. Fact is we need a O line coach. We haven’t had a good one in a long time.
