Jack Nicklaus wins $50 million lawsuit against Nicklaus Companies

you have to be worth alot to collect that much for defamation. People like us are not losing out of 50 million because someone says something bad about us.

Yeah I'm curious the argument for why he should be awarded $50 million. Seems like this story includes more than just "Someone said he'd be the face of the Saudi golf league."
Also, if this in any way harms the Saudi golf league, then good! I wish it were $150 million.

met him and his wife a few times when I lived in Jupiter, Fl, they're really nice people, first time I met them was the end of a golf camp that I'd put my son in, the final days was a tournament(par three course, kids were pretty young,) Niklaus and his wife were caddying for their grandson, big cookout afterwards, they were nice, gracious to everyone, he signed anything that someone put in front of him
