AirPods Pro 3 Question/Issue - Heart Rate Monitoring

I just got the AirPods Pro 3 and am trying to utilize the heart rate feature, but it's not populating on my phone. According to the instructions and tutorials I'm seeing I just need to have the AirPods connected and go to the settings where "Heart Rate" should be a toggle right above the "About" information. I also just ran an update to the software. Still nothing.

From AI
if your iPhone is an iPhone 11 or newer, you should be able to update to iOS 26, after which the heart rate feature will become available. If you have an older iPhone model, the feature will not be supported on your device.

My question is: I have the airpod pro 2s. Is an upgrade worth it?
Use em daily for working out, listening to stuff at work + listening to movies/shows from apple tv.

I have/had the pro 2s but one bit the dust after it plunged four stories to the pool deck below. These are good and I was intrigued by the heart rate data, which I've still not been able to figure out as well as the live translation. Not that I need it but it sounds awesome if it works and it's free.
The sound quality is awesome and the noise cancellation is great, but one big difference I noticed is that the transparency is way better. It's like you're wearing nothing at all, which is nice because I put it on that setting when I'm working out outside so I can still hear what's going on around me.

Is your iPhone updated to the newest OS? (26). I don't believe you'll get the full features until you update.

Thanks for the post. I was just coming back to report the error. So when I went in to make sure I had the latest update it allowed me to update to 18.7.1 or something like that. No other option. So I thought I was fully up to date. But when I got on with Apple Support they had to actually push that one to me and when I loaded it everything showed up the way it was supposed to.
