Alabama fans are a bunch of inbreds. No one even ranked them #1 but Rivals. LSU has the #1 class period. ESPN and CBS, the MAJOR sports shows already have us #1

Not that recruiting ranking are important, but suggesting that ESPN and CBS are "MAJOR" services for rankings is a joke. ESPN uses Tom Lungbill and only Tom Lungbill for their rankings. CBS uses Tom Lemming and only Tom Lemming for their rankings. As least Rivals and Scout use an entire network of folks to rank the teams. Obviously, it is easy to disagree with any service or individual, because they all make plenty of mistakes. Who really has the best class will be settled in 3 years when the players are actually playing. Until then, the recruiting rankings are just a way to pass time until the start of football season.

I have not seen any composite rankings, but I would put more value in a composite ranking than in the opinion of any one person. Of course, if the composite rankings count Tom Lungbill and Tom Lemming the same as the entire Rivals and Scout networks combined, I would think it was an improperly scaled ranking.

Shut the frick up you inbred Alabama bastrad. If anything is a joke it's Alabama and their pathetic Rivals ranking. Rivals doesn't even fricking use an entire network of folks to rank teams because they use a formula with sets of points depending on what ranked recruit you land. Not mention they miscalculated their own formula, which got Alabama into the #1 rankings in the first place.

Use the same justification when explaining Bama's supposed 12 National Championships. The 12 will srink to 6 or 7 if generous. Get in the real world. Just because some Bama janitor flies flags in the Bryant Denny stadium doesn't means it's the truth.
