Decided I'm gonna go take the boat out tomorrow and see if I can't find some trout. Looks like tide is going to be falling early morning. Any reports from around borgne?

I fished last Wednesday the 9th. Caught 11 keepers trout and 100 throw backs mostly on artificial in the marsh very close to the boat launch. They are inside now.

That sounds like my trip 3 weeks ago. The number of small trout are crazy.

How did you do? I took my kids yesterday (Sat) and small trout and white trout everywhere we stopped. We hit little half moon, china pass and then muscle area. A few bull reds mixed in

Went today despite the wind. None of the fishermen I talked to did much of anything; they reported catching throwbacks but very few keepers. I kept five. I know this, if the NOAA says that the tide in Shell Beach is going to be 1.5 feet, it will be as least two feet.
