What the hell is going on, why are we planting a military asset for them in the middle of US soil?
I didn't vote for this, this is anti-american

This is truly bizarre. I've been trying to research to find out more information. The details seem few and far between. I really don't get this.

Training base and it is not the first time we have had foreign soldiers and aircraft training on our soil. Been doing it for years.

I mean it is anti-american and there is no reason for a foreign entity to have a military presence in america
not a hard concept to understand

do you have any links to this happening in the past on US soil, and giving the foreign entity a base?

Both of you over over-dramatic clowns would do well with reading the other thread on this.

Imagine the threads on here if Biden/Obama had done the exact same thing after a $5.5b luxury golf course and a jet.

Better question is why are we training Qatari military personelle with US equipment and tactics
especially considering the decades long support of HAMAS from Qatar
Qatar's support for Hamas
Hosting leaders: Qatar has hosted Hamas's political bureau and senior leadership in its capital, Doha, since 2012. Former and current leaders, including Khaled Mashal and Khalil al-Hayya, have been based there, though the arrangement was strained in 2024 and 2025. Following a series of leadership assassinations in 2024, Hamas established a temporary ruling committee in Doha.
Financial aid: The country has provided significant financial aid to Hamas-controlled Gaza, amounting to over $1.8 billion since 2012. For years, Israel's government, under Benjamin Netanyahu, reportedly approved these transfers to maintain a fragile status quo in the Gaza Strip.
Platform through Al Jazeera: The Qatari government-owned Al Jazeera network has historically provided a platform for Hamas messaging. The network's coverage is often seen as aligned with Hamas's narrative, amplifying the group's political messaging.

well that is just that "imagination"
stick to reality here where donald trump is doing what you're opposed to in real time
remove head from sand
"If you wouldn't want the other team doing it, you shouldn't do it" is a concept lost on so many people

Not that you have to agree with it, but did it occur to you that this was potentially related to the Israel/Hamas deal? Or part of an overall strategy which may or may not work?
Personally, I doubt it gets the Qataris from doing bad things.

Understood. I had just hoped we were going to stop doing stupid stuff that we had been doing for decades like training citizens of countries who hate us and support terrorism. .
