Get Out vs The Skeleton Key

I saw Get Out for the first time last night. I love Catherine Keener, but I didn’t really like the movie. I thought it was overhyped. I also thought it ripped off the plot of a movie I really like-The Skeleton Key.
Get Out-I did not like; got great reviews.
The Skeleton Key-I really did like; didn’t get very good reviews.
Just wondering who agrees or disagrees with me on this?

I enjoyed Get Out. Not a great movie or anything, but enjoyed watching it.

Get out sucked, SK was meh but not as bad.

Agree completely.
SK was just good, deep, immersion.
GO was kinda interesting but quickly got to be one trick pony.

Neither one was that great to me. I did love how over the top Louisiana the SK went with the old black guy speaking French and eating raw oysters while running the counter at the gas station.

SK is even more twisted when you realize that party, they were actually hanging the kids instead of the servants

I think Skeleton Key is one of the most underrated movies out there. I prefer it to Get Out.

Jordan Peele sucks.
