We definitely need a couple physical bruisers on the roster at all times in addition to the smaller backs.

Not a speedster at 11.56 but playing RB is more about balance, strength, vision, and change-of-direction IMO.

Emmitt Smith agrees.

I’m just going to use conventional wisdom to tell you he’s a lot faster than that to be getting an offer from LSU. That is probably an old 100m time. That or he’s made huge strides.

There is no running back in the SEC with that kind of time

Thx tigerbait, I thought the same.

Does anyone have updated times for him, probably timed at LSU?

I think he has a lot to offer. Sunbelt Billy offered last night also.

Man, I have been waiting on this offer!!! I don’t know Trey personally or anything, but I did a lot of reading and research on him! Let me tell you, this kid has come a long way and he’s not even close to being done! Would be a HR get for LSU if they end up signing him! That and we get a new Offensive Coordinator by next season! I love Coach Sloan to death but he needs to stick with just developing QB’s!!!

12 second 100 meter time doesn't cut it in the SEC at his size

11.45

Emmitt Smith's time was 11.26.

Smith had a nice career.

I do see your point.

How fast do you think Durham has been running on one good foot?

I grew up in Winnsboro. They are finally starting to get more focus on the talent in the Boro. This coach has kids buying into his process and program. More kids are signing up to play, and its cool now to be a Patriot (Wildcats RIP).

The Monroe schools have been less successful in poaching their players. If they would stay out of Winnsboro, they would have a solid, steady contender.

Mathis/Neville. He was a Winnsboro kid.
