Stock Talk’s picks are gold. Best researcher out there for the public.

This guy on X called Stock Talk is as good as you’ll find, and he goes into in depth discussions on his theses daily.
He’s not invincible, and it is a raging bull market right now, but this guy is such a sound stock picker.
If I had to sum up his style, it’s this.
Research like no one else, avoid the crowd, don’t jump on memes, find stocks before they become memes (NBIS).
Allow your research to fuel your conviction so that you’re not tempted to jump in and out of positions.
His latest three are:
AMKR
DPRO
and PLAB (today)
Because the market is hot and because his 2 year performance is so stellar, he’s looking for the following criteria:
2-10bn market cap
Low P/S (like 1 or less)
Highly relevant thematic sector
(DPRO was a bit of a wild card)
His previous picks weren’t so tied to fundamentals.
He chose NBIS, KTOS, UUUU, HOOD, and LEU.
He runs about 17-19 positions currently.

Definitely feel like I need to start diversifying some more! Thanks Bayou!

Same! Soon…
The show (Stocks on Spaces) comes on X every day at 2:00 CST and the recording is usually up immediately after. Stock Talk is a daily speaker. He and Jag know their stuff.
The host is a bit of a dumb dumb.

Thanks. Will add it to my listen

Been following him for a few years now. Great follow and very detailed thesis picks. He does also have a discord but will give out some of his picks to the public. Worth noting just because they’ve established positions already. Usually there’s plenty of meat left on the bone and I’ve never felt like they were using the platform for exit liquidity but worth noting.

How do you know their picks? Do I have to subscribe ?

I merely listen to the Spaces on X and read his posts on X.
As said, there’s a group for subscribers, but he gives out his picks for free the same day before market close (on spaces).
Seems like a good guy in that regard.
It sounds like the group subscription gives access to his call option strikes and such.

Have you held anything with him?
Wish I’d have learned of LEU earlier, but I actually beat him to NBIS so I can’t complain too much.

Peter Schiff is same.

I’m personally adding LTRX to this list.
I’ll hammer it below $5
I’ve seen enough!

The biggest thing to understand about these kind of guys is to know that they have front loaded before they start talking about it.

Stock talk initiated a position in PLAB and then spoke about it publicly on the same day before market closed.
Yes, his subscribers knew first, but that’s why they pay. I’ve watched. They don’t move markets when initiating.
He buys long term anyway.

Picking individual stocks is hard. I tried it for a really time and didn’t consistently beat the S&P. 40% equity ETFs, 25% GLD, 20% BTC/IBIT, 15% MM or something similar and you’ll smoke 99% of stock pickers.
Point is, it’s very hard to find asymmetry in picking the best stocks. It’s surprisingly easy to find it in picking asset classes and rebalancing.

AMPX extending flight time with battery tech, LTRX extending it with tech?
