Was Nuss’s velocity and arm strength ever really that impressive? All I hear about is how strong his arm is and that this mysterious injury is the reason he’s poo this year, but I don’t recall ever being impressed with his arm strength. Feel like every deep throw aside from 22 UGA and the OU game last year was pretty much under thrown and only resulted in positive yardage after a PI caused by the underthrown ball. Also, I even noticed last year where a lot of his mid-range throws seemed to float upwards and be almost sitting up for grabs rather than being zipped in.
But then again, I am often in a drunken coma during the games so there’s that
ETA: he may very well have some sort of injury, but I don’t feel like it’s impacting what has been disappointing about his play this year all that much tbh. Maybe statistically, but I think the opponents we’ve faced this year as opposed to last year first 5 games might have something to do with that as well.

Yes. And you don’t have to believe me, you can listen to NFL scouts that have seen him in person.

People age and the body breaks down. Look at Drew Brees at the end of his career. Think Nuss is in a similar situation.

Nuss is 22 years old and not 39. He’s dealing with some sort of middle body injury and it’s causing him to have terrible mechanics to compensate for that injury.
Brees’ issue was his shoulder was deteriorating, he says he can’t even throw a football anymore it’s so bad. That’s from YEARS of throwing
