I’ve been saying for years these conferences need to push for their own playoffs and cut their own TV deals.

Sure if you exclude the Big 12 (nary a power team) and the ACC recently (except when Clemson, FSU or in yesteryear Miami have a contender) from the big-boy playoffs.
