Man! I grew up watching Cajun Phil. Loved watching him fish Lacassine and the burns. ????

Yep, I talked to Phil last week the day before he died, was floored when wife told me. Dude chewed my arse for coming in late one day until he saw my second trip into my fish box. Damn we laughed about that for years.

What was that top water bait that had swimming action fins that Cajun Phil used to advertise on his show in the early days? It had a catchy name, but I can’t remember.
ETA: Powerpak Shad, and Powerpak Frog. I'll always associate those with Cajun Phil's show.

I feel bad. I watched Phil when he took over for Ray Valdetero. I bought my reloading supplies from E&M. I remember a show where Phil and Kevin hunting and fishing in Mexico. Kevin was shooting the ducks from the front of a running boat. They said it was legal there.

Sad to hear about Phil. I was a regular viewer from way back. One of the best In SW La.
RIP Mr Phil
And God Bless!
