We Knew This Was Coming

It is what it is. A rebuild.
This team is devoid of playmakers on both sides of the ball. We have needs at essentially every position.
It’s past time for Loomis to go. That’s the real reason we’re here.
Just eat bad contracts this season and be prepared to cut bait. Play the rookie QB and see what you’ve got. Find a way to get someone else in the front office. I think you’ve got a ton of upside with Moore. Hopefully he can build this team.

We wasted a second rd pick on a back up QB.
If we were rebuilding it would be understandable. But at some point our folks looked at this team and thought it was ok
Anyone with any trade value is old as shite. Getting a year older.

Loomis isn't going anywhere. The best we can hope for is Gayle giving him a new title and bring in a football GM.

Problem is that we need 2-3 bad years to begin climbing out of all of this.

The SMART People knew this was coming but everyone else kept commenting the Saints would still win 7 games this year.
Look it up… it’s in these threads.
I don’t mind the rebuild… I wanted it.
However, Loomis will fight it every step of the way though !!!!
For example, he won’t trade back and get more draft picks !!
That’s the only way you’ll have enough high draft picks to get the rebuild done in about 4 years.
Now .. picking the correct players with those high draft picks… that’s a whole separate discussion.
