We should line up in I formation majority of the game.

Impose the will on SLU, a team that should not be able to hold their own in the trenches.

Kelly said himself if I-Formation is what it takes then that’s what we’ll do.

What better game to get those reps in than SELU, and it’ll give Ole Piss more to prepare for!

Yes lining up in the i (without a fullback) against SLU to "impose our will" will totally help the offense get back on track.

LSU could win 2-0 and if the downfield passing attack looks good, I will be happy.

I’ve been waiting for a good toss dive for a while now.

This would have no benefit to the team’s overall goals. They need to sharpen the things that will benefit them overall, not focus on absurd strategies on how to dominate SLU.

Puss is nit an RPO QB. He is a pro style and the I with a full back will work so much better for Nuss

The running game woes will not be fixed overnight running I-Formation and it may just be that it is what it is. With all the talent at WR, there's still hope for a vertical passing game and that should be easier to fix.

He threw for 4,000+ last year without a fullback out of the I.

Does LSU have a FB?

I’ll hang up and listen.

I get what you're saying. We don't have a fullback. By definition, though, it can't be the I-formation without someone lining up at that position.

Question is, could someone like Jackson or Sharp play that role in a limited capacity? I wouldn't hate to see some version of it

I bet Jackson could play FB - but Sharp and Pyburn did just fine.

Amazing. So abandon the successes we’ve had. Redesign the offense, and basically start over in week 4,……after a 3-0 start.

Hmmmm? Tap me out of that idea.

While I don’t agree with this, there is good utility to the I formation for blocking and swing out plays. I’d like to see it used sometimes.

Do we know if Nuss is good to go? If he’s anything less than 100% I want them to gameplan around it. I’d rather him take it easy in this game and be ready to attack next week.
