His actions certainly say otherwise. Article is clearly biased. This quote from his friend, which they base the article around, stuck out

I read it. The author released some innocuous messages from a single discord chat that the assassin allegedly belonged to.
He dismisses the inscriptions on the bullets of things like "Hey Fascist, Catch!" as an ode to a video game that the assassin played (while not mentioning the other anti-fascist inscriptions on the bullets like the esoteric Italian anti-fascist song)
If we ignore a mountain of evidence, sure, it may be possible the killer wasn't left wing.
