Apparently it just premiered at one of the big film festivals (Toronto or Venice) and people were raving about it.

Based on the teaser it looks a lot like a book I just read - Nuclear War: A Scenario by Annie Jacobsen. It was on Denis Villeneuve’s shortlist of next movies but probably got pushed even further back after this one was announced.
