Lost in the navel gazing about what a bad team we are

The defense was down two starters most of the game and didn't miss a beat. Their backups combined for 25 tackles. Spears hasn't been able to crack the starting lineup but when he got his chance he had two picks. This may be the best defense in the country.

This defense will keep us in most games remaining. The amount of rotation Baker used is gonna pay off.

West went out later but his absence didn’t hurt us imho. Had the backups flying around.

Who was the second one?
Whit was out after the first series. I don’t recall anyone else leaving until West got hurt halfway through the 4th quarter
So not “most of the game”

The defense has enough depth that will allow them to be on the field for longer drives without getting tired. We’re talking 2022 UGA level of depth.

I'm giddy about having a defense. Not sure how to act bc it's been a long time.
