"Is this AI?"

looking for a new CPA so I started calling offices.

some of the real ones are obvious: you hear a physical phone being answered or the responses seem more fluid

but damn, there were some that had me actually asking if I was speaking to AI or not.

if you use AI to handle your office calls, it was an immediate no for me.
