John 12:24

24 Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.

Rest In Peace Charlie Kirk
I wrote this last night, thinking of this passage - as I was just covering the Parable of the Talents in Sunday School.
(I know the name of this forum... I ask for you to indulge me for a moment as I expand on the quote. Yes, it was Biblical, Christian... the Bible. I hope it give you some comfort, as I rejoice knowing that Charlie is in good hands now.)
You'll recall, a talent in this was equal to around 20 years average wage. Three servants were given these talents - one was given 5 (~5 million today), a second was given 2, and the third given 1. They were asked to safeguard these valuables while the master was away. Two did, one squander his talent.
But the story is about the talents embedded and developed in you and me. Charlie Kirk nurtured and grew those God-given talents better than most.
God Entrusts Us with Gifts
Each of us has been given resources — talents, time, opportunities, spiritual gifts. They may not be equal in measure, but they are uniquely suited to us. What matters is not how much we have, but what we do with it.
Faithfulness Over Fear
The servant who buried his talent allowed fear to paralyze him. We too can sometimes “bury” our gifts by not using them out of fear of failure or comparison with others. Jesus calls us to step out in faith and put what we’ve been given into action.
Accountability to God
One day, like the servants, we will give an account of how we used what God entrusted to us. Faithful stewardship brings reward; neglect brings loss.
Using Gifts Grows Them
The more we exercise the gifts God has given us — whether in service, generosity, leadership, or encouragement — the more they multiply. God blesses faithfulness.
Living for Eternal Impact
The “joy of your master” represents eternal reward — being with Christ and sharing in His kingdom. The parable reminds us not to live only for earthly security but to invest in eternal purposes.

The Word is always comforting and puts things into amazing perspective.
That said, I'm still struggling mightily with this one. I wasn't this pissed off when they shot Trump. I was more mad at the media back then. But this one, I'm angry at the entire Left along with the media. I've been honestly at a rolling boil since I heard the news yesterday. Managed to get it off my mind before bedtime through a long prayer to GOD, but woke up with it back on my mind again.
I am disgusted.
