It sounds a lot like a shot with a short barrel suppressor to me. Anyone else think the same thing? I hear the crack breaking the sound barrier, but no boom from the barrel. A .308 would be a massive boom especially from 200 yards or less.

You may be hearing the crack from the bullet making contact.. that shite is much louder than you’d think it would be

Tons of structure around there, like just the sound bouncing back and forth.

I thought the exact same thing. Sounded suppressed to me.

Yea I thought so too. Maybe it was louder in person. I just shoot with suppressed ammo a lot and it sounds eerily similar.

A suppressed gun shooting a supersonic bullet is still pretty loud. Don’t get wrong, it’s not as loud as an unsupressed gun, but it would definitely be heard.

5.56 with mic peaking.

Same sound signature as the gun used on trump (5.56) from same distance.

No silencer - relax.

No, the crack is before it hits. Listen closely

Well there isn’t really such thing as a silencer so…just saying, it’s possible it may be a suppressed rifle. Move on kid

Maybe y'all have seen a different video than I. It absolutely sounds unsuppressed to me. Maybe it's quality of video and etc. myself own several suppressors and my friends and I have tested different suppressors down range (we are behind the burm or conex containers) and it just sounds unsuppressed to me

Paramount Tactical just did a review on his YouTube channel and his theory is Charlie had a plate under his shirt. The bullet hit the edge of the plate and deflected up into his neck. It doesn’t look like there was an exit wound and that would explain no exit wound.

Sure, explain a silencer vs a suppressor.

You will lose. The original patent called them silencers.

It did look like it hit his front right shoulder/chest, then kicked up and went thru his throat. Watching in slow mo anyways it seems like you can see a hole thru his shirt. Certainly doesn’t look like a professional hit by any stretch

It was 100% a suppressed rifle shot.

Ah, well done, a marketing scheme similar to the Debeers family made famous by a man named Percy maxim. Only uninformed call them silencers anymore.

Not if it were suppressed, especially in a compound full of buildings and sound deflections on them.

Even with a 308, if it's suppressed, it's going to have that crack, but not a huge boom, especially if it was a big suppressor.

A sound suppressor would also amplify the echos and sound distortion, making it much harder to pinpoint exactly where the shot came from, thus giving time to escape in the chaos, especially if you have a patsy on the ground that the cops believe to be the suspect.
