Looking to put some landscaping rocks around the front and back perimeter of my home. ~ 3 ft border

What kind of rocks are typically used in this case? Limestone?

Who should I contact in the BR/ ascension region for this?

For an edger? Ledgestone or cut limestone is most cost effective unless you want to use fake rock (concrete) or brick

Jim Stone in BTR has been providing a wide variety hardscape for a long time. Woerner Turf has a smaller selection. Anything you buy bigger than gravel will have been shipped in some distance (TX, AR, GA) and have an elevated price. To my knowledge neither supplier will place the stones for you. You'll need a landscape company for that.

As stated below, Jim Stone has the most options for "gravel" style bulk rocks by the yard. Woerner has some limited options.

For a gravel barrier/border around the house perimeter I've mostly seen gravel or egg rock (which is a larger rock gravel mix). Limestone I suppose would work as well. Anything more decorative will cost you lots more. I used black slate chips from Jim Stone around my pool.
