Cassidy Votes to Convict President Donald Trump

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) voted to convict President Donald Trump on a single article of impeachment charging him with “incitement of insurrection”. Cassidy released the following statement after the trial concluded:

“Our Constitution and our country is more important than any one person. I voted to convict President Trump because he is guilty,” said Dr. Cassidy.

I cringe at every single one of his ads where he speaks of working with Trump while he tried to convict the man.

I seriously doubt it at this stage in the game.

Clearly Bill Cassidy is bought and paid for. He is not a good person. He has no redeeming qualities based upon the compelling evidence that I've seen lately

Here's how this will play out. MAGA will field too many candidates, and classic, anti-pedo, principled conservatives that are registered independents will gladly hop in line to vote for someone who is on record opposing Trump and critical of RFK.

Cassidy's (any politician) job is to represent and vote the will of his constituents. Do you think the majority of people in Louisiana believed Trump should have been impeached?
