Do you just want trail cam pics or data collection too?

I use WiseEye camera. Actually saw sensei buddy talking about it in here and thought the data collection idea was cool.

The data part is in fact pretty cool, and the camera has been fantastic. Set it up with on of their solar panels and it’s been flawless for two years now. Not a single issue.

Apparently they also have great customer service. I haven’t had a need to call though.

That’s the best type of support.
The kind you don’t need!

Not even sure what data collection is. Just looking for something reliable that will send the pics to my phone and not go through batteries every couple days

I posted a link that shows you what the data side is

If all you want is a camera to send pictures, then you have lots to choose from in the big box stores.

I’m not sure I understand the question but I’m assuming you mean is their lowest cost camera the latest technology?

If that is what you did mean then yes Wiseeye only sells two models and both models are packed with features and capabilities. And are updated before going out the door.

I set up my WiseEye camera with a solar panel and haven’t touched it in over two years.

The data collection part is pretty cool.
It allows you to quickly sort the activity the camera captures by different data points (pressure, wind, temperature, moon phase).

That part has been really cool to see over the past two years because what I thought would be the best time to be out there based off of the standard solunar calendar hasnt been the case based off of what the camera is collecting and showing. And last year I used that info to time my hunts better, which ended up resulting in me having more successful hunts.

ETA: for example, the solunar calendar has a full moon and new moon as the “high activity days”, but for my favorite stand those days have been terrible. I end up getting the most activity on a waxing crescent and waning crescent.

that moon phase info is like a roller coaster. My wind directions have been very interesting. I've been working on overlaying my wind direction charts (filtered by specific cameras and antlered deer) and put it on google map of that location. Now i can see the best winds to hunt, stay away from scent drift and define approach directions!

have you used it for that?

I have. Thanks for sharing that picture.

Mine is pretty dang similar. N and NE winds have by far the most actively overall, with a N wind dominating my buck actively.
