Stupid decisions and regrets

Can I ask, am I the only person who makes dumb decisions about life, money, work, etc. and reflect “WTF was I thinking?” It’s seems the older I get I find myself asking these questions. Please wise OT posters shed some light on my dumbassery. Am I alone in these thoughts? I’d love to hear experiences and advice. I have too many to recount unfortunately.

Nah, but you'll probably be one of the few honest ones about it...

We all have regrets.
The best advice I can give to counter this is:
“Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.”
When it comes to financial decisions; I always take time to think it over. Be practical. Don't rush into a big expense. If that makes you seem stingy, don't worry about it. Always get a second opinion. Do your homework. Know that a lot of people out there are looking to take advantage of you. Don't be the easy target.

You are one wise man Roger. I shall not question you again.

If you don’t have those thoughts, you’re just oblivious. Normal for reasonable people to feel these things.

Nothing speaks louder than the voice in your head.

Take your lumps, learn from them and move on. Dwelling doesn’t do anything to help your progress

You aren’t lying. I am my own worst critic by degrees of magnitude.

Stayed in radio too long, trying to make it.
Maybe trying to make it in radio was the bad decision.

We are men, we love risk...sometimes it catches up to us. We adapt and move on.

I understand more than you know. I had a friend tell me one time when I was younger, “If you stay long enough you get to the point your career chooses you.” He was a military veteran.

I have no tattoos. I always was conservative in that way I guess.

We will not regret the past nor wish to shut the door on it.

The one that got away...
Chick in law school, had a modeling career, extremely smart, kind soul - I was an idiot and fricked it up.
She's a successful attorney now. We don't speak anymore

I know that, but getting to that point is a different story.
