LSU was on the verge of blowing that game open.

Coming out of the half, LSU goes right down and scores a touchdown.

They then hold Clemson to a field goal attempt, which they missed.

LSU then gets the Int.

Right now, the score is 10-10.

Nuss throws the TD to Brown. Would have made tge score, 17-10. I know the play calling would have changed if LSU gets credit for the TD.

Clemson then goes 3 and out.

LSU, again, goes right down the field and scores a TD. Would have made it 24-10.

At that point, there was only the 4th quarter remaining. Clemson would have had to go into hurry up mode at that point.

I think Clemson would have become predictable, playing right into LSU's hands.

I can't imagine what would have happened if we would have lost that game after that abortion of a missed call.

Great teams find a way to blow out the other teams.

Would be my only concern going forward

In their defense the refs basically stole a touchdown from LSU without conclusive video evidence to change the call.

Great teams find a way to win no matter what.

2019 vs Auburn is a perfect example. You can be the best team on the planet, doesnt mean you can go and drop 45 on everyone. Some games call for different ways to win.

So in order to be a “great team” they must “blow out” every opponent they face?

Well.. I guess that 2019 team wasn’t a “great team” after all, folks. Unfortunately they had a close one with Auburn that year. Yeah, I know, I know. It’s too bad too. Because man, that mediocre 2019 team was so close to being great.
