Waiver Wire/FA Question

12 team full PPR non Superflex league
So another team just dropped Aiyuk to waivers and Trey Benson is also sitting there as a FA. We have an IR slot available and somehow this person seems to not realize he can slot him there.
My question is who would you drop to pick up Aiyuk once he rolls over to FA (tonight) and slot him to IR, then pick up Benson for the bench?
Current Roster:
QB: Maye, C Williams
RB: Bucky, C Brown, O Hampton, RJ Harvey, J Mason
WR: Chase, Egbuka, G Wilson, DJ Moore, K Allen, C Kirk
TE: T Warren
K: E Mcpherson
DST: Pats
Was thinking of dropping C Williams and do a ride/die with Maye at QB (since bye is week 14), but the wire is sketchy at best with Penix as best available and I'm not fully sold on Maye as full time starter. If I leave Benson sitting there, I'd probably drop my kicker and just pick up another one or let him clear waivers and pick him back up.
Suggestions from FSB?
ETA: this is more of a cock block for a couple teams with strong starting lineups but thin benches...esp at WR.

I would drop one of ur QBs, I don’t trust either one to be consistent or Egbaku, not sure he is gonna be targeted enough

Hell no, don’t drop Egbuka. Kirk or Allen are hardly worth rostering.

Drop kirk. He may have a good week or two but you won’t play him before the others

I’d probably do that. If you really want Benson. Drop Kirk or Allen. With those 2 QBs, I feel like you need to play matchups, so I’d keep both unless one of them proves to be reliable weekly.

This is the route I went, wasn’t comfortable riding with only Maye, so dropped my kicker and picked up Gay for wk 1. I’m taking a wait and see approach with Benson and see what usage looks like for Allen/Kirk in week 1 and hope he’s still there if I want to make a move.
