I am looking at the Labor Day sales. I don’t need a high end dishwasher but I don’t want something that is going to need constant repairs or worse yet flood my rental. Maytag has one for $598. Would that be a decent option? Would another brand be better in that price range? I don’t want to spend over $800, less if possible.

No point in spending Bosch money on a rental

Maytag. Whirlpool and Kitvhenaid all use same motors, controls and electronics but different interiors and face. I would get a Whirlpool or maytag and it's basically a Kitchen aid. I don't like plastic tubs but not a deal breakers for a rental.
Really there is a basic$350 GE rental grade that i usually get. It's cheap and lasts.

they all require basic care like cleaning the filter weekly and running cleaning cycles. Your renter isn't going to do that so just buy the cheapest you can.
