I noticed something last night....

this was the best LSU defense since 2015 or 2014, as I watched the game.
I had it confirmed today.
The youtube channel PFF college football show who has rated college football games since 2014, has this as the highest rated LSU defensive game since the 2014 season.
Watch the show they rate every position and have great praise for the whole LSU team.
This is the best breakdown of both teams and every unit and every player.

The physicality they played with is something we haven’t seen since the 2000s and the early 2010s era. Very nostalgic. Freaking love it

I try not to get too excited over one game. But this D looks like it can be special. A shut out against la tech would be a nice confirmation.

That 2016 defense is slept on. One of the greatest defenses in LSU history. So underrated

2014? We sucked that year.
2018 was pretty salty. I would say that it’s the best defense since 2018 when Devin White was in the middle of the field and Grant Delpit and Greedy Williams were on the outside.

That was the first LSU game I’ve watched in a long time where I felt confident in the defense to get a stop on that last Clemson drive.

Playing one good game doesn’t make the season. 2014 sucked overall
