LSU actually isn’t recruiting her anymore and isn’t visiting this fall. They stopped after the ACL injury even though LSU pushed hard previously

I suppose they could pivot if they miss on others but they seem to be locked in on those remaining kids I listed. They’ll host 8 players this fall.

Goal is to sign 3-4 (Spaight, Trinity and a big or two)

Its possible my sources are off base but heard LSU isn't pushing for Francis anymore since her ACL tear months ago, they have seemed to concentrate on Vukosa, Edwards, Andrews, Abii/Lampley in terms of bigs/athletic wing or forwards for this class. Like I said its possible things change but it was my understanding she won't take a official visit to LSU.

LSU Hosts its First Big Recruiting Weekend next week from Thursday evening to Sunday morning.

This will feature Jacy Abii, Trinity Jones, Aaliah Spaight and Kelsi Andrews.

Some Notes:

-Jacy Abii will visit Texas the week after LSU and it will be her final official visit, an announcement will soon follow. LSU has recruited Jacy for 2-3 years now and her dad has Louisiana ties. Her versatility being used as a stretch forward and wing is something they like about her game at 6'2.

-Trinity Jones has been someone LSU has been recruiting since early of 2023 and has been on campus multiple times. LSU has a solid chance at signing the top 10 player out of Illinois. The team that could potentially push the Tigers would be potentially Tennessee.


-Aaliah Spaight was a late addition to LSUs recruiting class targets. After bowing out of the sweepstakes for Autumn Fleary due to NIL issues, LSU has gone all in on Spaight. She is a late stock riser who blew up this summer, earning offer from multiple top programs including LSU, South Carolina, Texas, North Carolina and more. At Nike Nationals, against the best players in the country she led the NIKE EYBL circuit in scoring at over 26 PPG, was third in assists and first in steals, She is projected to be in the top 40-50 in the next ranking update. Her stock has soared from her success on AAU circuit, overtime basketball and all star games (which was recently named MVP for one). Multiple people feel LSU is a leader for this recruitment going into the fall and Tigers have the chance to shut down the recruitment next weekend. This would give Mulkey a high quality HS point guard recruit for the future.


-Kelsi Andrews is a top 30 recruit out of Alabama, she is 6'3, strong big. Someone who could be a nice addition depth wise for future behind Koval and with Knox and other inside. She is also being recruited by other SEC programs including Alabama and South Carolina. Kelsi has visited LSU unofficially in the past. She recently visited Virginia and will be in BR next weekend
