I need help with a rose bush

Any idea what’s causing this rose bush to turn brown and appear to be dying.

What type of Rose? Knockout? Looks like you are possibly over watering but there are so many diseases that attack roses it's hard to say.

cut the dead canes back to green, whatever the issue is. do that now, and then burn or discard the cuttings and sterilize your shears.

Check the canes at, and just below ground level. I had a 15 yr. old knockout rose bush that had the bottom of the canes and top of the root system infested with large maggot like critters that were eating their way through them.
By the time I found them it was too late and I just pulled the plant, dug up most of the roots and tossed the rose bush.
They looked like big squash vine borer type larva and did a number on the bush.
