My bloodwork shows 5.4 normal is 5.0. Should I be concerned?

I have. Had a weird heartbeat... went to my Cardio... did bloodwork... potassium was too high... took lasix for 5 days (I think it was 5)... took care of it. Changed my BP meds as well back to what they should have been.

Cause me to change my PCP as well. Old one retired, the group placed me with a new one.. first thing he did was change up my BP and diabetes meds... wouldn't give me a clear reason. Turns out, he wasn't even an MD. He was a DO. Needless to say, my Cardio was less than happy with him. Anyways... left that practice altogether.

Don’t make a fist when you’re doing bloodwork.Potassium testing is very sensitive.
