So, the Big 12 assessed a 1/2 game suspension for AJ Haulcy

Why does that affect him now that he’s in the SEC? Wouldn’t the SEC have to suspend him? I think there is some room for a ruling from the SEC.

The Big 12 issued their letter in December. I think LSU is working with SEC officials to see if that is still valid. That’s how I’m seeing this.

He wasn't suspended for fighting. He was suspended for unsportman penalty. That must be a Big12 thing for next game.

Haulcy was suspended 1 game for fighting. At the time, he was a Big 12 player playing in a Big 12 game. They recorded it as non-flagrant unsportsmanlike conduct, but Big 12 changed it to flagrant & fighting shortly after the game. Big 12 sent that via letter to Houston.
My understanding is we are working with SEC officials to see if that suspension is still valid or if he’s fully eligible.

This. Why does a Big 12 suspension carry over to the SEC? If it’s not an NCAA suspension we should tell them to pound sand.

Decision has already been made. If this was brought to their attention months ago they likely might have gotten a different answer with working through the muddy waters but its too late the report and SEC Commissioner has already informed Kelly of his suspension.

Correct. Nobody is arguing that. They changed the ruling AFTER the game
