I just purchased this book on Audible. How is it? It’s endorsed by Brady, Jordan, and Saban. Just started it.
I’m looking for motivational books. Just got a job in medical sales after my last job had a nationwide layoff five months in. I’ve had over 1,000 companies deny me and only one give me a chance. This one. And it’s a good one. I have a chip on my shoulder. Just finished Relentless by Tim Grover(Jordan’s personal trainer and sports psychologist).

Man I relate to this so hard. Not in sales but I’ve been getting rejected from every pharma company for over a year. My morale is super low. It’s hard to keep showing up and searching and applying . And the constant rejection emails. I’m glad you got your chance.
It’s like we are at recess and you can throw well and catch well too and. Yet everyone’s getting picked over you at dodgeball. You know you’re a game changer but you’re waiting for your name to get called first. I’m still waiting for mine. All it takes is one.
Can’t go wrong with “how good do you want to be” by Saban. He’s just a great motivator .

It took me three years to get a non-contract medical sales job. It’s what I did post college but I have a gap in my resume due to bad decisions and being an alcoholic/addict. Sober now, but medical sales doesn’t look kindly on resume gaps. I am fortunate. What area are you applying for? I found that getting an internal referral made getting interviews a lot more frequent. I did that by researching employees that worked for the companies that had an opening.

Not strictly speaking a "motivational" book, but one that I have felt helped me in many aspects of life over these past decades with it:
Charles Garfield - Peak Performance
It teaches visualization as pioneered by elite athletes in ways you can use it. I get the vibe it would help you.

Page 1-Deflate the other teams balls.
Page 2-Spy on the other team with cameras.
Page 3-I’m a fraud and full of shite. I’m a cheater.

I think George Mumford was also one of Michael Jordan's trainers.
