Wasn’t even second or third string

Nah, Patt-Henry is their starter. Either way they are pretty unproven there.

But maybe his friends were threatening him to take the rap for him. We should let it play out. He’s never been in trouble before.
Is that how this works?

Not sure that's a jab LSU fans want to be throwing right now.

Their OL is a greater concern considering he is a very good interior guy. I think Dabo is lying about him based on reports when he got hurt. He's probably not going to play against LSU but I guess we'll see. This guy is nothing more than depth so that's about all it hurts for Clemson. Their injured interior is one to watch because Gooden has been killing LSU's lineman and he killed OL at his old school too. Glad he's on our side and nobody else picked him up. I like an undersized lineman who's quick with something to prove.

Did it say he was missing first game
He could wait and suspend him for some smaller school they play after

Situational TE at best. Hopefully creates a huge distraction and fractures locker room tho

Hasn’t played a real snap in football since early in high school. He’s a basketball player with no more eligibility that only had a future playing pro ball in Greece. Would have never seen the field against LSU.

He’s probably 4th on the depth chart.
Olsen Patt-Henry is the starter. Josh Sapp is next based on experience, but Christian Bentancur is expected by many insiders to be a future star TE for Clemson. Former GT star/Atlanta Falcons Keith Brookings son is probably next on the depth chart, although Clemson wants to redshirt him. So IS may get snaps ahead of him.
Basically, Ian Schieffelin is just a “Dabo” Gameday story that will get some media coverage when he get on the field with scrubs/walks one and will be force fed a TD for a feel good story.

No way he should be allow to play the first game. . He'll take missing the first game, realize the critical error in judgement and be a better person moving forward.

No wonder that name sounded familiar.
