Inspired by the other guy's thread about having a dog surrendered to him and now she wants it back.

As I remember, an elderly couple couldn't take care of this large deaf dog so rehomed it through a service. Then we they couldn't take it back, they had some meth head grandson break into the house at night and steal it. All on video.

The dog was eventually chip scanned somewhere and returned the rightful owner, if I recall correctly.

Also, were the old people ever found, charged, convicted of anything? That's where my memory gets hazy.

Cliff's Notes for you- Alabama news article.

A friend of the family posted about it here, and the OT detectives got on the case and doxxed a lot of the trash people around this hijinx.

Somebody that is connected to the geezer couple that gave him away had the dog outside of Phoenix. Their LEO's got the dog back to the lady who had it robbed from her house. She was told they are building a case and for her not to speak publicly about it.

I believe Pam Bondi is in charge of bringing charges against those involved.

It may be Tom Brady that stole him.

The old couple apparently took him to the Carolinas, then shipped him to some family in Arizona. They did this to spite the lady that is his lawful owner since they did not have him either. We are told charges are coming, but month by month passes without anything.
