it's not that it is a waste of a scholly he is a WR that if he gets his hands on the ball there is a chance for a big gain that's all it will be big for bama cause of the space in the middle left by jones that is why bama wants him.

I doubt it but of all the skill position players he is one of the ones we can most afford to lose. I see him being a solid WR by his Junior and Seniors years, IF LSU doesn't bring in some young talent that passes him e.g., Dixon and/or the Mitchells.

I will bet on Miles's opinion before any statement like that. His coaching staff has seen these guys more than anyone on this board and if Miles made the offer then he thinks he is worth it. I hope he comes here and I hope he contributes.

That's an "Alabama thing"... and it won't work against LSU. The Tide are the "in-state school of choice". We'll always have that advantage. The only reason Auburn ever had a streak like that was sanctions, no scholarships, weak coaches (because no one wanted to to go through that here), etc.

The Crimson Tide will go back to beating the shite out of Auburn now.. and continue it.. unless some douchebag breaks the rules again.

I'm looking forward to it.

Mark my words you're going to find Saban spending less and less time in Louisiana and more and more time defending his home turf. Both Auburn and the Vols now have a bunch of recruiting gunslingers that are going to make life miserable for little Nicky.

And the days when Saban had it made against a lazy Tubby and Phat Phil are gone with the wind.

Auburn leads the series 15-11 since Bryant retired. Auburn's record since 1983 is 219-90-5 and they have won 5 SEC titles. Alabama's record since 1983 is 214-104-1 with 3 SEC titles and 1 NC. Both schools went through a probationary period over the last 26 years. I want to say Alabama has one undefeated season during that time period. Auburn has two undefeated seasons during the time period. Auburn also has the only undefeated SEC team of this decade.

I will personally never understand why Alabama is somehow the easy school of choice in the state; however, I also don't live in Alabama. I think what Bryant did was truly amazing; however, it was during an era that didn't have the same scholarship rules. I also don't understand the huge Alabama tradition because they haven't been insanely better than Auburn since Bryant retired and scholarship rules were changed.

Auburn beat bama bc probation affected recruiting and a kiffin clone was running the program
As soon as saban got a talented team auburn got dominated by 5 tds . Auburns classes over the last three years have been pathetic, I don't even see them competing in the west for several years
