Club Repair/Custom Clubs

Anyone in Baton Rouge do club repair these days? Custom set builds? Custom stamping, refinishing clubs, a true fitting from putter to driver? I follow so many guys on instagram that do all kinds of club work and fittings. Would Baton Rouge support a really good independent golf shop?

Edwin Watts does lots of what you are asking. Are you looking for a shop to get clubs repaired/customized or testing the waters for an opportunity?

Robert Patt.. lives out near Greystone. They give out his card at Edwin Watts when it's something they can't or don't do..

I think the guy at Schneider’s does all of that.

Testing the waters some but wanted to know if there was anyone in the area that does all that type of work, how the quality was, if they are certified, etc.
I think with the growth of golf since Covid, the need for custom work, repair, etc. is there. Just don’t know if there is a huge market in Baton Rouge. If you would could walk in a place, get fit on Trackman, have access to every shaft on the market, build a full set, putter studio, etc. would people in Baton Rouge support it?

I don't know of any place that uses trackman that also offers everything else you listed. If a place like that were to exist, I'd probably try it out and if the fitter knew what they were doing, I'd probably use said place exclusively.
I currently drive down to Buddha's studio in NOLA for all of the above. Would be nice to have all that closer to home even if the fitter isn't quite the same caliber.

Dicks has Trackman and can do a lot things outside of real customization on clubs

I know you said BR, but you should give my guy Jake Meddlin a shout at Stripe Show in Dallas. funny enough his family is from plaquemine and asks us to bring him cracklins and boudin from benot's when we make a trip over there.
He does all you're talking about and does it well. He wants to open up a location in baton rouge in the future DUDE IS LEGIT
