Georgia High School Football: Milton vs.Buford. 7PM, ESPN2....

Milton are the two-time defending state champs in 6A. They are the first team to play Buford(10X state champs) in their new $62MIL palace of a stadium. Should be a good one.

That and canadian football on at 830 CBSSN. Will catch up on Bill's hard knocks as well. Going to be a great night of football watching.

That was a great punt but are we sure the guy that downed the ball didn’t have his heals on the goal line?

Dylan Raiola’s younger brother is the Buford QB. Not sure exactly who but I expect there are quite a few highly regarded players on both teams.

It’s a city school district. The county property taxes weren’t affected.
It’s alleged several well-heeled folks paid for most of it.

There are no rules for the big dogs anymore on any level from Middle school on up.
The lower less ‘supported’ schools in their A-AAAAAAA rankings will fall further and further behind.

For some reason, city schools in Georgia are allowed to take as many out of area students as they want. The "penalty" is each one counts as 3 students for classification purposes but that doesn't mean shite for schools like Buford.

In fairness, Buford, Carrollton, Valdosta, and other city schools in Georgia were recruiting and paying players well before NIL.
