New Orleans Jazz/76ers preseason game in BR at the Centroplex

Do any of you old timers remember when Pistol Pete played against Dr J at the Centroplex?
I remember going as a youngster, being a huge Sixers fan at the time.
I remember seeing Maurice Cheeks play, and I'd never heard of him before. His rookie year was 78-79, so I'm pretty sure this game occurred in the 1978 preseason.
One other thing i remember about the game was Darryl Dawkins having several thunderous slams in the game, and the headline in the advocate the next morning was "Dawks dunks".
I've tried multiple ways to Google this, with no success.
Anyone else go to or remember this game?

Not BR related, but I was 10 & my best friend’s dad was a KC Kings season ticket holder and we were at Kemper when Chocolate Thunder shattered the backboard on Bill Robinzine’s head.
Awesome, plus we never missed Dr. J when the Sixer’s rolled through town.

Dawkins used to name his dunks.
The Go-rilla Dunk
The Left-handed Spine Chiller Supreme.
This one he called (roughly, from memory)
Chocolate Thunder flyin
Robinzine cryin
Backboard swayin
Game delayin
Wham bam
Glass-breaker I am jam

Didn’t Maravich play at the PMAC once with the Hawks in a preseason game?
People always say he never played at the PMAC, but he did

When I was googling the game i referenced in the thread, I found out that Pete did play an exhibition game with the Hawks in the Assembly Center his rookie year.

Larry Legend scored a cool 60 against the Hawks in 86 at UNO. Had the Hawks bench going crazy.
