LSU Campus is a gun free zone

How is it that a few LSU players have been caught with a gun or arrested for possessing a gun and nobody ask if they’re bringing these guns in their cars on campus?
Are the coaches telling these players they aren’t allowed to have guns in their cars on campus etc.? That if they get caught with a gun on campus that they could be kicked out of school and face criminal charges?
Most people who possess at least one handgun usually bring it with them everywhere which means it’s kept in the vehicle or on their person.
Malik Nabors for example was arrested for possessing an illegal firearm in New Orleans. I guarantee you he kept it in his vehicle.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire shot & killed someone in self-defense because the guy he shite tried to rob him. This was in December of 2018 while trying to sell his PS4, Amother LSU Football player, Jared Small, was with Clyde when the incident occurred.
I like Malik & Clyde don’t get me wrong but both were caught in very bad situations involving a gun. I’m not trying to knock them, but just trying to make a point.
I hope our coaches are using this example with JT Lindsey to explain to these players about possessing a gun then bringing it in on campus etc. You can get criminal charges even if the gun is locked in your vehicle while on campus.
These kids need to be reminded that if they even want a chance at having a career in the NFL, they need to make good decisions and not throw away opportunities that most people would love to have.

It is Jim, but you’re not allowed to have a gun in your vehicle on campus. Look up LSU’s gun policy. I don’t make the rules. I’m just explaining them. High-school kids aren’t allowed to have them in their cars either on campus even if they’re 18 years old. The same rule applies for public universities.

Why would anyone down vote this post? The same ones are probably saying JT Lindsey deserves what it gets etc etc. I’m simply asking how much are these coaches stressing to the kids about having guns in the first place? I’m not against someone having firearms, but not if they aren’t allowed on campus and not if they’re aren’t going to use them responsibly.

You're a complete dumbass for in anyway blaming Clyde.

So you're asking the posters on TigerDroppings how much the coaches are talking to the players about having a gun on campus. Are you assuming that Kelly posts here?

Except that you are allowed to have a firearm in your vehicle on campus.

So if they are going to use them responsibly, you're ok with them having guns on campus?

How do you expect anyone here to know the answer to that???? Because unless you're in there when they do new player orientation or LSU school rules 101.... you simply have to assume it's being talked about.

Your mistake thinking LSU is pro America

Does 001 have weekly sessions to tell the plants baws that firearms aren’t allowed within the fence line of the refinery, even in their vehicle?

Show me where I blamed him? I said it was self-defense so maybe you’re the dumbass that can’t comprehend. My point was he obviously owned a gun but they’re not allowed to bring guns on campus. Period. You know they’re bringing them in their cars too. That was my point.

We can assume that they do but to what extent? I think they need to be more strict on these kids. We don’t want to end up being like Georgia where we constantly have multiple kids getting arrested.

Exactly plant workers aren’t allowed to have them in their vehicles either. I know someone who was fired from Exxon for having a gun in his vehicle in the parking lot.

You are unfathomably stupid. And likely a troll POS.
You are under review.
You are under review.

Don’t be stupid. I’m sure BK isn’t on this message board. It’s for discussion but I do know there’s some folks who post in here who have strong connections to LSU including people in local media networks.

Ok but why does this make me stupid exactly? Please explain but try to use more intelligence this time when responding. I’m not trolling. As an LSU fan, I’m legitimately concerned about our players and don’t want to see another player in trouble. What am I under review for exactly? I haven’t broken any rules.

Are they allowed to have a gun in their vehicle or no?

It’s called living in Louisiana..and when you’re a African American living here..driving a nice car..have all the women, play for LSU, have NIL money..you’re easily a target. These players are going to protect theirselves at all cost. Better to be with it than without it..f*** the rules.
