The Saints offense looks worse than old, wrinkled booty cheeks. So far that is.

Geno seems to like D'onte Thronton deep for the Raiders.

Chase Brown is going to feast this year if he stays healthy.

I don't really think of him as a goal down back. But, thats encouraging to see him get the goal line carry on 4th down.

As I'm typing this, I see why the Redskins are shopping Robinson.

Are we buying into the hype on Croskey-Merritt? I’m considering going after him in dynasty before the hype train goes off the rails.

Rosriguez has looked just as good if not better but he sure has a lot of hype. I just wouldn’t pay big. Seems very much like a hot hand kinda scenario with eckler the only one really locked into role.

I think it’ll be more of a committee than some realize. Rodriguez has close to 20 lbs on JCM and may have some role in short yardage and goal line situations.

Mike Evans seems to be shooting up draft boards. Im not able to get him where I was getting him last week.

I can see why. Godwin is not going to be available week 1. McMillan had 8 touchdowns last year, but

quote:

Jalen McMillan will be placed on injured reserve after suffering a “severely sprained neck,” against the Steelers and could be out past the Bucs Week 9 bye week, the Times has learned. Team still feels fortunate the injury wasn’t worse and have depth at WR starting with Mike Evans and Emeka Egbuka. Chris Godwin will eventually return from a dislocated ankle. But tough news for McMillan.

Evans stock up.

I have not seen a clear answer. This was the summary on one site.

quote:

Godwin has had a rough go of it over the course of the past few months. The veteran WR suffered a dislocated left ankle in Week 7 of last season and had subsequent surgery. There was speculation that Godwin would be ready to go for last season’s playoffs but he was not yet ready.

Buccaneers GM Jason Licht said in April of this year that Godwin would be ready to go for Week 1 of this coming season, but now that is in jeopardy. Godwin reportedly had a second, minor surgery on the ankle this past spring and he is now on the preseason PUP list.

A full recovery from dislocated ankle surgery typically takes around 3-6 months. Complicating matters is the “minor” surgery he received this past spring. It is possible that Godwin will have to reset the clock from that second surgery.

The most likely scenario is that the Buccaneers place Godwin on the reserve/PUP during the final cutdown period in a few weeks. This would make Godwin ineligible to play in the first four games of the regular season.

One site says Godwin may start season on reserve/PUP list

I don’t think they are moving on from their starter because they suddenly have confidence in a practice squad player. I think it’s all Bill related.

Neither do I. I think Rodriguez will have some role this season though.
