This might be a better question for the Money Board, but since this board is full of seasoned travelers I thought I should start here first.

I’ve been a Marriott Bonvoy card holder for about 6 years now and recently learned about The Ritz Carlton Card from a fellow hotel guest. I’ve done the research and I am aware of the $450 annual fee, the free night (up to 85k points), the TSA precheck and $300 travel credit, as well as all the travel insurance and car rental insurance, but I want to know if anyone on this board has firsthand experience with the card and if they could give their perspective on how changing affected them.

I read 'rumors' that the annual fee is about go up to $695. But who knows.

Annual fees are going up across the board.

Marriott came out and denied that rumor, but I'm sure it will go up in the next year or so.

OP, I've been considering getting that card too. The 85k FNA is pretty nice to go with the $300. I have read that people think the $300 could be easier to use as you have to call in and request the credits. For Chase Sapphire lounges, the Ritz apparently gets higher priority than even a Sapphire Reserve holder.

hilton aspire is probably the best hotel credit card amex offers but if you are loyal to marriott the brilliants dining credit is pretty easy to use and the 85k FNA plus 15k top up plus platinum eilite statius is easily worth 300 bucks if the AF does go up as rumored

and right now it has an elavated SUB of 185k points which i believe is the highest offer ever

Yeah we have the Aspire and it's the best hotel card imo as well. The offer of 175k is what I'm seeing as we're thinking of getting a P2.
