48-year-old man killed on Airline Highway

t was around 5 a.m. on July 29th when Travis Weams, 48, was driving a 2012 Toyota Camry and crashed on Airline Hwy. northbound near Manchac Park Road.
After that crash, State Police Troopers say Weams got out of his car, crossed the median, and walked into the northbound lane of Airline Hwy. At the same time, a 2019 Mack garbage truck hit Weams. After initial impact, he was hit again by a 2016 Ford Mustang.

I can’t help but think of Boris the blade with that bag over his head handcuffed walking around in the middle of the street.

Possible concussion?
I recall a nearly identical situation on I-55 near Hammond a few years ago. Young guy gets in a crash, gets out of his vehicle appearing to be ok. He then walks right into speeding traffic and gets hit by two vehicles in rapid succession.
