I am still in the due diligence phase of evaluating this one but thought I would share.
A graphene play - sort of a holy grail product that just has not really been able to take off due to quality production etc....
Kevin Bambrough is pumping this like crazy (see his twitter) - he is a legacy SPROTT guy - take him for what he is worth (some think a carnival barker; some think fairly in tune with resources).
Here is an interview with CEO (bonus babe points):
Interview CEO
The run this week is primarily due to KB - I entered a position today and will be doing more work as time allows.

in with a measly 2000 shares.

I am more intrigued the more I look but am also out of my lane.
Here is the man we are banking on Sorenson
Timeline of the play:
1) Been in talks supposedly with 60 plus companies over usage through the Graphene Engineering and Innovation Center in Manchester (where graphene was effectively discovered/invented). Suppose to have some deals in next few months
2) Ops are in US, formally re-domiciling Corporate entity in next few months
3) Pathway to Q1 2026 Nasdaq listing
Ofcourse do your own diligence could all be smoke.

I liked what I read on it, but also understand this is very speculative. Gotta pay to play! I like having a HRHR (high risk high reward) fund set aside to throw some cash on potential runners. If that fund stays in the green, great. Once it hits red, well then it's time to hit the reset button or go down with the ship
Here's some AI tidbits on it...
quote:
1. Patented, Scalable Graphene Production (Hyperion System)
Tech Differentiator:
HydroGraph owns the global exclusive license to a patented detonation method for graphene production, developed at Kansas State University.
Why It Matters: Traditional graphene production methods (e.g., chemical vapor deposition or graphite exfoliation) are expensive, inefficient, or environmentally harmful. HGRAF’s method:
Uses acetylene and oxygen, detonated to create ultra-pure graphene.
Generates little to no waste.
Claims lower cost, high yield, and high consistency.
2. Graphene Quality and Purity
Produces monolayer graphene (one-atom-thick sheets), which is much more valuable than multilayer variants.
Independent testing (including by Rice University) reportedly confirms industry-leading purity and batch consistency.
Their material meets ASTM standards, making it more viable for industrial adoption.
3. Green Tech Alignment
Their detonation process is clean, scalable, and low-energy.
Positioned at the intersection of graphene innovation and green hydrogen markets—both rapidly expanding industries with major R&D and government funding tailwinds.
4. Flexible Applications & Market Potential
HydroGraph targets multiple billion-dollar verticals:
Batteries & supercapacitors
Concrete & composites
Coatings & inks
Filtration systems
Semiconductors
Being a "materials supplier" to a wide range of sectors gives them optionality if they can scale manufacturing and secure key partnerships.
5. Strategic Location & Supply Chain Readiness
New manufacturing facility in Manhattan, Kansas is built for modular scaling, enabling them to expand as demand grows without massive CapEx.
Their graphene powder is reportedly shipping to potential clients for testing/validation—meaning they may be closer to commercial traction than some microcap competitors.

it has the elements I like in high risk specs. The concept is legitimate in that if someone ever does crack the production code they can name their price. With KB involved, the hype and market awareness goes up significantly. The timing works in that if commercial contracts occur it should be this year and NASDAQ should be next year. Any leg in those timelines would be the red flag to me to consider bolting.

Why won’t my brokerage acct (Schwab Roth/401k self-directed or vanguard Roth) allow me to buy this?

Not sure. I use Schwab and bought just fine. Are you buying market or limit? Maybe since it’s OTC you can only purchase limit orders.

I tried limit and market. Neither worked.

Looked on RH and it’s not listed. How do I invest in this?

Good question - I can buy through Fidelity. I am not sure on others. Sorry
Posted on 7/28/25 at 9:06 am to meeple
it’s listed on vanguard but for whatever reason a message appears that says orders are not currently being accepted even though price per share is moving

Good info, thanks! I know recent lab trials to strengthen polymers have failed due to poor quality. This may be the key.

She is running today - expected given a lot of positivie publicity this weekend on X including the release of the science talk I attached Friday night.

LOL I think it will be very volatile over the next several weeks until we get commercial news (hopefully).
The more shares that can change to long term holders the better. One of the challenges on this one is with a couple hundred million shares o/s and not very many locked up (not a lot of insider ownership), there is ample supply that needs to be sponged up.
Note: I do not find lack of insider ownership concerning which I understand if some due. Unique to the history of this company. Science is owned by old school professor in Kansas. Company only a few years old (2017 I believe) and management has turned.

I bought some on Schwab today so not sure why it didn’t work for you.
I know from a technical perspective this could be a significant advancement. My area of expertise is in polymers and this product is a nano-particle and the problem has been getting consistent particle distribution in the polymer matrix due to inconsistency in the particle sizes of the graphene as well as impurities. Fix that and make it cheaper (as discussed in the article) and the applications for this are astronomical.

I bought some too, but between the attractive young blonde CEO and the fact they issued an unlimited number of common shares without par value, I can't help getting Elizabeth Holmes / Theranos vibes.
Maybe unlimited shares w/no par value isn't uncommon for small penny-stock IPOs..?
